Description:    

Delegates will gain an understanding of all the administrative procedures and functionality within SunSystems 5. The functionality for the creation and maintenance of business units, the setup of the operator and security structure and the archiving of old data will be explored. The natural next step to this course is our 1-day Customisation course.

Suitable for:    

• Users tasked with the role of SunSystems Administrator

• Users who will act as support to the SunSystems Administrator

• Internal Support staff

Pre-requisites:        

• A good understanding of SunSystems Ledger Accounting module

• An understanding of basic accounting

Objectives:

By the end of this course, delegates will be able to:

• Understand the major SunSystems concepts and analysis structure

• Understand system navigation

• Create new business units (including forms compiling and the regeneration of filters)

• Perform SunSystems backups and restores (for SunSystems 5.2.1+)

• Create Operators and Operator Groups and Data Access Groups

• Understand the Ledger Setup

• Create and run a data audit

• Perform system archiving
