Ledger Accounting

Description:    

Delegates will gain an understanding of the most regularly used functions within of the Ledger Accounting module, with a view to becoming ‘operational’ in a time efficient and cost effective manner. Sessions will include a review of the concepts behind SunSystems, through to defining accounts, posting journals to the ledger and creating automatic supplier payments. Delegates are encouraged to maximise hands-on practice during the sessions.  

Suitable for:    

• Users who form part of the Finance processing team (i.e. receivables/payables)

• Users with a day-to-day interest in the system (i.e. Accountants etc.)

• Users tasked with the role of SunSystems Administrator

• Internal support staff

Objectives:

By the end of this course, delegates will be able to:

• Understand the concepts behind SunSystems

• Understand the SunSystems analysis structure

• Create accounts

• Create supplier addresses

• Create supplier bank details

• Understand the setup required for entering journals

• Enter journals to the system

• Perform account inquiries

• Perform allocations

• Create and generate automatic Supplier payments

• Print payment documents

• Printing standard system reports
