Recognition of Quality at Sapphire

Sapphire receives ISO 9001:2008 Quality Management System certificate

Sapphire is delighted to announce that it has been awarded the ISO 9001:2008 Quality Management System accreditation.

ISO 9001:2008 is the International Standard for Quality Management Systems (QMS). It provides a company with a set of principles that ensure a common sense approach to the management of business activities to consistently achieve customer satisfaction. Requirements are underpinned by eight management principles:

a customer focused organisation

leadership

the involvement of people

ensuring a process approach

a systematic approach to management

a factual approach to decision making

mutually beneficial supplier relations

continuous improvement

Tony Martin, Client Service Director at Sapphire, commented: "Luckily for us, we entered the accreditation process with a head start as quality and service have been at the foundation of Sapphire's business success. What we have done over the last nine months is quantify, document and rigorously test what we do, in some cases tweaking our processes and in other cases devising whole new ones.

However, continuous improvement is what we strive for, so this is only the beginning; not only will we carry on doing the great things that we do but we will always be looking for ways to get even better."
